Master Painter
Recently Designers such as myself have been termed "Master Painters." I find this an honor and affirmation of 40 years of creating exceptionally rendered artwork.
The paradigm I grew up with in this industry is no longer. Over the years the "Master Painters", designer/artists before me, shared their design, repeat, color and technical knowledge while mentoring us younger artists.
As a "Mill Stylist" I printed in mills across the East Coast. This invaluable experience honed my skills regarding repeats, color and technical knowledge in printing processes.
In the 1990's I learned CAD and found it another medium in which to apply my talents.
Today I collaborate with another "Master Painter"and we mentor two young artists while we create a new collection of original designs for our debut at "Printsource" in April showing for Spring/Summer 2013.
